Through God's Eyes

One of our primary challenges each day is to see our family member as God sees them.

In His Kingdom, where truth reigns, we are all known according to His knowledge of us. According to our unique and irreplaceable identity among His People. The child He delights in.

Seeing our spouse and children as He sees them is critical for them to experience life in His Kingdom through us. But our view of them tends to be clouded by our faulty desires, fears, and motives.

This is exactly why He sent The Counselor: His Spirit – to equip us with His knowledge and wisdom about all things.

When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth. […] He will glorify Me, because He will take from what is Mine and declare it to you. Everything the Father has is Mine. This is why I told you that He takes from what is Mine and will declare it to you.  – John 16:13a, 14 & 15

Ask God to show you how He sees your family members. With expectation, listen to the Holy Spirit about each one.

Prepare to be amazed.
